Ingredients:
Chicken cuts of choice (the marinade should do anything from approx one person 1-7)
1 440g Jar of Yackandandah Honey Soy Simmer Sauce (Found in the healthfood section of Woolworths)
Salad of choice (I just used lettuce leaves and sliced tomato as that was all I had at the time)
Chicken:
Place chicken in a large bowl & cover with honey simmer sauce. Don't be afraid to use it sparingly.
Place in the fridge for 4 hours to marinate & then pan fry until chicken is done. But in saying that in our house last week it was only left on some diced chicken pieces for 10 minutes and thrown on the bbq and everyone thought it tasted good.
Salad:
Wash and dry lettuce, slice tomatoes, cucumber etc. Spray each plate lightly with Praise Balsamic Spritz
Thats it. Its quick, reasonably healthy, tastes good & doesn't cost the earth.
The simmer sauce cost about $4.50 and can be used for 2 dishes. The balsamic spray bottle cost mabe $3 and even with 6 of us its going to take months to use up the bottle.
